Out to Lunch
Going to lunch has been interesting. Some days it has felt like a chore and I have had to pry myself away from my desk. There were a few days that I did not leave my desk for lunch. Friday was different. I scheduled a 45 minute lunch on my calendar and left when I had scheduled. I decided to go home for lunch mailnly to swap vehicles. On my way home, I had a protein bar. When I got home, Corey was making speghetti and he shared some of it with me. I went up stairs with my bowl and phone and sat on the bed eating my speghetti and watched a forensic file epesode on YouTube while Corey conducted a zoom meeting. I decided not to watch the clock and since it was just Kristen and I in the office today, I gave myself permission to enjoy lunch and not rush. When I got back to the office, I noticed I had been gone the amount of time I planned. Friday was a very productive day and I did not feel guilty in taking not only a lunch break but enough time where I didn't feel rushed.
